When I first started working on this a few months ago, I had a very different idea of what I wanted to accomplish: basically I wanted to try and create a generic platform of sorts that I could use to showcase and render future MOCs with. I wasn't really satisfied how that turned out though, so I ended up grabbing assets from other renders and turning it into this thing.
